TRADITIONAL ITALIAN TOMATO OLIVE SAUCE RECIPE

 

Ingredients (4 people):

  • 500 gr tomatoes
  • 150 gr black olives
  • salt to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • basil to taste
  • extra virgin olive oil to taste

Directions:

Blanch the tomatoes, peel, remove seeds and chop. Cook the garlic with the oil, add the chopped tomatoes and olives.

Add salt and cook over medium heat and add the basil and oil.

 

Bottegaio’s tips:

A small change that will add additional flavor to the preparation involves the addition of 40 grams of salted capers desalinated water.
