PORCINI MUSHROOMS FARROTTO

€ 4,60
AVAILABILITY: not in stock
Item code: 0504
Weight: 8,75 oz
Description
Italians call Farrotto a spelt cooked as risotto. The rich, almost meaty taste of the porcini mushroom is wonderfully enhanced with the creamy nuances of this farrotto. Our producer selects only the finest mushrooms and carefully dry them so they retain their flavour for longer.
Cooking instruction
Bring approximately 700 ml of water to a boil. Heat two spoons of oil or a little butter
in a shallow saucepan on high heat. Pour in the farrotto and mix. Add half a glass of boiling water or, if you prefer, a glass of white wine, heated seperately; let it evaporate. Gradually add more boiling water until completely cooked, for 20-22 minutes. Stir frequently. For optimum performance, once fully cooked, stir in a knob of butter and add grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Store in a cool, dry place.
